I love learning, sharing and generally getting overly enthusiastic about all things Power Platform. I work as a technology evangelist (yes, that’s a real job!) at Barhead Solutions in Australia. I started out as a customer of Dynamics 365 (in book publishing!), and business user torturing Excel to solve business problems, before making a big career change in 2016 to work full time with business applications. To date I have helped over 1500 people get started with their Power Platform journey by running free in person and virtual “in a day” training events. I focus on Power Apps, Power Virtual Agents, D365 for Sales, Sales Insights, Customer Insights, and bringing the pieces of the platform together, including Microsoft Teams.
I’ve had a love for computers, gadgets and technology since I was about 5 years old and started to create programs on the ZX Spectrum plus. Microsoft CRM came in to my world back in 2012, and I’ve never looked back. My passion is learning for myself, then teaching others. I’ve got a love for anything marketing or social media related, and once having my own web design & SEO company. I made a massive leap at the start of 2020 to go it alone as an Independent Power Platform Consultant under the company name MVW Consulting Ltd. I particularly focus on D365 Customer Engagement (Sales & Customer Service), D365 for Marketing, Power Apps, Power Automate, Forms Pro, Portals & SSRS Report writing.
